Corydoras sp. CW010 also know as gold laser cory, Peru gold stripe, and Peru orange stripe is a small catfish of similar size and care needs to the green-gold cory (Corydoras melanotaenia ).
The gold laser cory is a gregarious fish which should be kept as a group of at least six and gets on well with most soft water species.
Housing and Feeding
Gold laser cories do well in both planted and blackwater tanks, with a sand substrate to prevent barbel damage as they love to dig and forage in the sand.
Like most cories they will take pretty much any food offered and can be fed a staple diet of small sinking catfish pellets, algae wafers and granulated foods, plus the occasional treat of live or frozen bloodworms.
Breeding is the same as most other cories with cool water changes triggering spawning once females are seen to be full of eggs. Fertilised eggs should be removed to hatch in a second tank or breeding box as they will be eaten if left with the parents and/or other fish.
